xslt - Increase XSL stack size in MSXML -


in xsl processor in msxml, i'm getting error while running recursive template on "larger" dataset. recursion terminates correctly, , works fine "smaller" datasets well, know it's not infinite loop. there way jack stack size quick fix, opposed recoding shoot lower stack usage (which useful longer term goal).

msxml3.dll error '80004005'  xsl processor stack has overflowed - probable cause infinite template recursion.

i not aware of such setting or property , documentation https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms766391%28v=vs.85%29.aspx has security related properties maxelementdepth , maxxmlsize no settings on xslt processor https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms757015%28v=vs.85%29.aspx.

so based on looks need rewrite code , use techniques divide , conquer reduce recursion depth.
